The Executive

The Purpose of the Executive

The Executive is the organizational head of the Legion.

The Executive works on behalf of the Members to provide programming, events and opportunities for socialization and support.

The Executive is made up of the positions noted below. Some are elected and some are appointed.

The Executive works with the Branch Manager to ensure that the facility is clean, safe, well-maintained, and that members needs are being provided for.  

The Executive, through its various Directors and Commitees, provides oversight of the management of the Branch.

The Executive, through the Treasurer, is to ensure that the finances are up-to-date and that there are sufficient funds to maintain operations.

The Executive, through the Membership Director, is to ensure that all membership applications, current memberships, awards and honours are up-to-date and reported to the membership.

How to Become a Member of the Executive:

The Executive Officers are elected every two years.

The next election is in February of 2026.  See Position Descriptions

Executive Directors can be appointed, as needed.

Executive Meetings:  Third Monday of the month at 6 pm

General Meetings:        Third Thursday of the month at 7 pm

(except July, August & December)
