Check out the shiny  showcase for the amazing Jack Carter Hoods on Horton Trophy in the Branch Front Lobby! Who will be this year’s winner?

You should be proud to be a part of this fun, annual fundraiser for Branch #285.

Volunteers are welcome to put your name forward to Wendy Dypolt at the address below and state what you would like to help with and what hours you would be available. We start about 6 am and go to 6:30 pm. Even a couple of hours help is appreciated. (selling tickets, cooking, handing out the food, registration, parking, traffic control, security, silent auction/ raffle set-up, take-down). Volunteer Parkers, Banker, Bartenders & Registration FULL. Please respond by August 1.

SATURDAY SET-UP x 8, 6 pm

SUNDAY 6:30 am
 • Greeter/Handout Waivers

• Set-up Food Donation Tables out back

• Breakfast Cooks x 2,  Helper, Runner

• Lunch Cooks x 2,  Helper, Runner

• Food Ticket Sales inside x 2/shift 6:30-9:30 am & 9:30 am-1:30 pm

• Food sales inside x 4 (2 per shift)

• Coffee Station 

• Silent Auction/Raffle Security

• Garbage Pick-up/Recycle

• Crosswalk Control

• Water Delivery to volunteers

• Bar Busser/Clean Tables 

• 50/50 sales inside/outside

There is also a signup sheet in the Branch.  A Volunteer Meeting will be scheduled 6 pm, Saturday, August 10 in the Auditorium. Many hands make light work.

 We will see you bright and early Sunday, August 11, 2024! Spectators will be allowed to park at Kirkland just a few steps to the south. Participants, if it rains, bring your house car and just come party indoors: Music by Al Barrett, great food, cold beverages, silent auction, raffles, and more! 

Please remember to bring a food donation for the Veterans Association Food Bank!

We hope that you will choose to support us, this year. Spectators are welcome, too!  Onsite parking is reserved for SHOW CARS ONLY. Parking is available at Kirkland just a few doors away.

We expect over 200 cars and many spectators. We will be serving breakfast, lunch, chips and beverages.

We are hoping you might be able to donate ANY portion of these items or giftcards that we can use to purchase these items: Your support will be acknowledged on our event signage, in a recap document, in a special feature in our bi-monthly newsletter, website and, if the value exceeds $250, a plaque is put on our Friends wall.
