Do you have Handicapped Access?

Yes, we have dedicated Handicap Parking directly out front and in the back Parking lot. The front has a ramp and power doors for easy access. All the washrooms are also handicap accessible.

Do you allow children?

Yes, supervised children are allowed until 8 pm each day the Branch is open in the public areas. If you are having a private function, they are allowed all evening.

Do you need to be a Member to come to the Legion?

No, everyone is welcome. We ask that you sign in at the door indicating you are a non-member. We encourage you to join, though! Your membership helps us pay the bills.

Can anyone become a member?

YES! Anyone over 18 years of age. You no longer need to be a Veteran or family member of a Veteran.

Is there food available to purchase?

Yes, we have a full-service kitchen serving home-cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner daily from 10 am.

We also have Daily Specials: Taco Tuesdays, Wing Wednesdays, Pasta Thursdays, Fish Fridays, Burger Saturdays.

Do you have dances?

Yes. Tuesday afternoon, 1 to 3 pm, is a Big Band-type music. $3 Cover Charge at the door. Donation at the stage for the musicians. 

Fridays, we host a different band every week from 7 to 10 pm. The fee is $9 for Legion Members and $12 for Non-Members.
Saturdays, Howlin' on Horton Blues Jam - dates vary, please check with office or on the website for updates.
$5 Cover charge at the door.

My band is playing there, how do we load equipment?

We have a side door at ground level on the south west side. Come in, find the manager and you can open the door for easy access.

Do you have a Trivia Night?

Sorry, no. But we do have Music Bingo every Thursday from 3 to 6 pm. It’s a $2 donation to play and the prizes are Branch Bucks you can use to pay for food purchases at #285!

Can anyone rent a room there?

Yes, you will have to contact our Bookings Team for prices and availability. We also offer full catering and bar services.
